GIVE US THE BACKGROUND - WHEN AND WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO OPEN A RECORD SHOP?

Diverse Vinyl opened in 1988 and has been in its current location since 1999. Co-owned by Paul and Matt, the shop has always been mainly vinyl and was selling it via mailorder back in the 90s. We also stock a few CDs, some guitar strings and a little bit of hardware but records are definitely our thing, both brand new and used. We cater to everyone from youngsters buying their first Taylor Swift single to audiophile customers after the latest release on Mobile Fidelity or Analogue Productions.
